Collection: Sassafras Striker

Sassafras catches the attention of most just by name alone. It isn’t often seen in dimensional lumber, but I was gifted a piece from the gentleman that sold me my bandsaw. He wanted a call and striker made from it, and I learned that it fares exceptional for both. It’s a perfect compromise between cedar and walnut for striker action.
